Upgrade of MDM 7.1 SP3 to SP5

Hello,

I have to upgrade MDM 7.1 SP3 to SP5 and for that required SPS has been downloaded already.

Could you please provide me the steps to upgrade the SPS from SP3 to SP5.

Hello Gopi,

Please refer to section 6. Updating MDM servers of installation guide SAP Master Data Mamagement 7.1 on Unix. SAPinst needs to be used for this activity.

Hi Gopi

You have to use SAPINST for the upgrade. Once you run it after downloading the SPs it will do the upgrade in 5 steps.

Follow the steps and for guidance on each step you can refer to MDM Installation guide from service marketr place, you will need an S ID for its access.
