Batch Determination at sales order level

Dear All,

While doing batch determination at sales order level, can we keep minimum shelf life (>12 months) of the material as search criteria.

Even at sales order level,systm is checking the minimum shelf life of the material(LOBM-RLZ).

you do batch determinaion a delivery level, and you specify the characteristics and selection criteria you want.

Thanks for your reply.

I know that at delivery level If we use LOBM_RLZ, this requirement can be achieved.But Client's requirement is while processing the sales order itself he wants to know the available stock with more than 12 months of expiry.If it is known he wants to reserve the stock against that sales order so that the stock can not be used for domestic purpose.

hi,

this is to infrom you that,

SAP has not provided such a functionality on this requriment.

but, you can achieve this by a screen exit by developing new screen for the same by taking this fields into consideration.

create a Z table with this fields:

material/plant/sloc/list of bathes (that stocks more than 12 months).

MATNR/WERKS/LGORT/CHARG's.

please test and confirm.

hi

this is to inform you that

selection criteria will be there at delivery level not at sales order level.

because while you pick the material in picking tab beneath it there will be an icon called batch split if you double click that you will be going to a screen in that one push button will be there called as selection criteria.

you can maintain self life expiry date less than 12 months and it will fetch according to your requriment.

in sales order level:

you can have create a new search criteira and add the same in list of selection criterias.

if you go for manual batches it is possible i think so.

if you want to select a batch with >12 months SLED which triggers in sales order automatically then you can configure it as per your requriment.

search in wiki there is document of 19 pages which contains all information what you want.
