getting error 'Page cannot be displayed' in view layout

Hi,

i have ECC 6.0 IDEAS in my laptop. i want web dynpro ABAP. But when i run it i got problem because of fully quallyfied domain. for this i added icm/host_name_full and value 'gcecc62.sony.co.in. in RZ10. once i added i am getting another problem, that is in SE80 i am unble to see VIEW layout. instead of layout it displays 'Page cannot be displayed' . p

Hi,

Have u added Host name in HOST.TXT file in ETC folder..

If not,

Go to SMICM tcode ( To get Host Name of SAP ), Click on Services Icon ( 3rd Icon from left ). Copy that Host Name

and Goto RUN -> Type Drivers. There will be a folder ETC, in that there will be a Text File HOST.. in that

add ur Server's IP ( Application Server) and HOST name

Eg: 101.201.3.201 SPAR60

Still i am getting problem,

Previously i changed address from gcecc62 to gceccc62.sony.co.in - for the below parameter is it supported or any?

icm/host_name_full - gcecc62.sony.co.in

After this i restarted.

but i am getting same.

the did a mistake for above parameter. help me for this.

Hi ,

As Ramesh said include the HOST NAME in hosts file in etc folder ( Path : C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc )..

and make sure that all services are activated in SICF ..
