Printing error

Hi All,

We r facing error while taking the printout through transaction code : VF31, if i am selecting 5 invoice numbers to print output system showing the communication pop up co where user needs to enter Logical destination evry time for each invoice .... that becomes problm for the uesrs so please suggest is there any configuration changes are required or any program changes r required.

i have checked in condition records, output type every where it is maintained properly........please provide the solution.

hi

please chec your out put device in SU3 or SU01D whether a default printer is maintained or not.

if it is maintained here for your ID then it will not ask for it.

if it is not maintained please talk to BASIS guy on this.

You need to maintian the print destination in the Output condition records. Also, maintian a default output location in SU01.

Another way of doing it is in VF31 itself. When system pulls up the list of invoices in VF31, select all the lines that you want to print and from the menu click Goto - Communications. If you put a printer name here, all the selected ouptuts would print to this location.

Check wether teh communciation method is mainted for each condition record. If maintained check if the user processing the VF31 t-code have access for printing options.

if the communication method is entered correctly in record, then you may need to debug, or ask the abap guys for help.
