How to delete a software component version folder in IR?

Hello XI gurus

I have some 'Software Component Version' folders in IR. All objects under this has been deleted and it is an empty folder. Is there a way to delete this folder also. When I try to right click on it, only options I see are 'Namespace, Open, Find and Export'. When I highlight this folder, even the delete button at the top menu is greyed out.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi Ram,

double-click the software component version, click on edit and go to "Software Component Version" menu and use the option "Delete".

I went to ID (Design) and double clicked on the empty folder (Software Component Version) which opened on the RHS a screen where I selected EDIT and it had three options 'CUT, COPY TEXT and INSERT' which is meant for the text on that screen. There is no option to delete.

I was able to delete other objects under this folder using the delete option from the main menu.

Any other suggestions will be appreciated.
