Ispection lot to be created for some cases

Hi,

The inspection lot will be skipped based on the below setting

QCC0->QM in Logistic->QM system>select the system>Click on Actual QM system-->click the check box :"Certified QM System - Skip"

Based on this setting ,system doesnt create inspection lot even though there is an active inspection type in the inspection setup for the material.

Now my requirement is : if the vendor supposse pass some information that time nspection lot should be created for that material .

kinldy advise how to achive this requirment .

I believe the lots are created as skip lots. Correct? If not you might want to consider using a DMR for the vendor.

In this case, include text instructions on the PO that inspection is to be done per vendor provided info.

At that time, have some go to the skip lot and go into results recording screen. Enter text on at least one test. The lot will no longer be a skip lot but will show as status INSP.

in material master maintain qm procurement tick, maintain target system

in q info record maintain relevent qm system with skip

inspectionlots will be skipped

now we u want inspection lot change qm system in q info record to withot skip

inspection lot will be generated

Hi,

Normally for certification vendor we dont want to create inspection lot ,in some cases vendor pass some information regaring lot hence we need to create inspection lot for that case only .

How to acheive this.

the material for which u don't want quality inspection don't set active indicator for 01 inspeciton

we u want inspection lot activate it.
