issue about value automap in import manager

HI ,expert

I have met an urgency problem.

in import manager.

the destination field type : Boolean. two fixed value: Yes ,No

I make a value mapping :

source value: 04 mapping Yes (destination value)

source value: 05 mapping No (destination value)

and save.

But when one value is 04, and next value is 05, the system didn't automap, and put the XML file into folder :Exception/StructuralX/.

how to make it automap everytime?

even I make changes:

source value: 04 mapping 04 (destination value)

source value: 05 mapping 05 (destination value)

the system didn't automap also.

Nimal

- Open the Map in Import Manager

- Go to Configuration - > Click on Options

- Go to 'Default MDIS handling' and for the Property 'Automap unmapped values' select Yes

- click Ok and then save the map.

I have done it before. it seems to not effect.

do you have any suggestion else?

thank you

Hi Jesse,

I would suggest, in Import Manager>Field/value tab>Value Conversion and mapping, you have three columns.

Status, Value , Converted Value

. , 04, Yes

. , 05, No

I mean here just write manually converted value yourself, for 04 write Yes in Converted value and for 05 write No. Once it is done after that Press Auto-map, it will now map both these source values 04 and 05 with target values Yes and No. Now you need to save your map. Before checking it through Import Server, just import some sample file again and check if it is getting map automatically or not through import manager. If it so then try using Import Server. I hope now your files will not go to exception folder.

Kindly revert with result.
