Dispatcher was stopped

Im using Netweaver 2004, Dispatcher was not running wht is the reasion

Please review the files

dev_dispatcher, std_dispatcher.out from the work directory and defaultTrace.X.trc from the dispatcher/log directory.

In my experience most often the reason the dispatcher doesn't start is that some of the ports that it uses are used by some other process or they were not released by the OS the last time the dispatcher was restarted.

Check if when the dispatcher is stopped the HTTP and the p4 ports are still open.

You could use OS command to list the open ports

netstat -an

without logs no-one has magic to guess. Please paste dev_disp and dev_w0 logs here.
