Service pack upgrade SP00 - SP05

Hi All,

I am currently on MDM 7.1 SP00........... want to upgrade to sp05

to Upgrade to SP05, should I apply SP01, SP02, SP03, SP04 and then SP05,

OR

can I apply SP05, direclty without applying sp01,sp02,sp03,sp04 .........

Any steps for applying the service packs .......pls forward.

Hi Venu

You can upgrade directly to SP5.

Download all the SPs required for SP05 and copy to the server where this needs to be installed.

Follow the MDM installation guide and steps- basically you need to run the SAPINST and follow the steps.

HI Venu,

Generally upgrades will be of two types... cummulative and non-cummilative.

In case of Cummilative SPs, you need to install all other SPs before to that SP, in later case you need to go on applying all the upgrades which are prior to it.

Jsut check whether this SP is a cummulative one or not.
