I want to add new values to "subject" field under CRM_DNO_Monitor (i.e Solution manager service desk ticket)
can anyone guide me step by step process to add the new values to subject filelds in solman?

goto SPRO Tcode.
SAP solution manager >scenario-specific settings>service desk>Define catalogs,codes and profiles>Define subject profiles.
Select you code group profile and enter the required new enteries there.

Another option is to copy the program CRM_DNO_SERVICE (the program run when you execute report CRM_DNO_MONITOR
as suggested in this thread

I think the only way to add a customized field to CRM_DNO_MONITOR is with programming code.
This can be accomplish via a custom BADI or making a copy of the actual program and modifying the copy.
So if you are not an ABAP person, I am not optimistic there is a BASIS type solution to this requirement.
