Oracle DB KPI MTE not showing new systems

Hello,

i have added couple of systems to solution manager, which is used as a CEN.

I have installed sapccm4x agents and they are visible in rz21, also auto reactions can be assigned to these systems, i have also added the systems to the dbacockpit succesfully

However in rz20 in CCMS monitors for optional components - Key indicators of monitored database - Oracle DB KPI i don't see the entries for the newly added systems.

Is there any configuration part that i am missing?

Hi Yavor,

I don't know if you're still facing this problem.

Anyway, you need to execute the report RSDBKPIMON for each new database in order to activate the Oracle KPI node.

ok, thx for this.

But i tried it at our systems. and it doesn't work. But the report RSDBKPIMON says: "anlegen der Knoten beendet" - Creation of nodes completed.

But there are no nodes in ccms

It takes a few minutes until you see the nodes.

Perhaps a system restart would accelerate this process, .

To wait doesn't make it better. Waited more than a week and nothing happened.

if i go to RZ21 i see it's in local context. but the Segment name is in lowercase. all the others are in uppercase.... maybe there is something to do?

You can try to reinitialize the segments:

1. Transaction RZ21 > "Technical infrastructure" > "Display Topology" > "Local Segments" > "Display <-> Change"

2. Select the main segment of you system and click on "Reset Segment in "WARMUP" Status"

Problem solved:
RZ21 -> Technical Infrastructure -> reorganize segments
