Project commitment is not getting updated by purchase contract

hi all,

i have one issue in my project.

In our project the purchasing cycle is that we first create purchase requisition for the service procurement. With reference to that purchase requisition we are creating Purchase contract using ME31K. The with reference to the contract we create the purchase order.

Now the issue is that When a Purchase requisition is created a commitment is posted on the project. after that when a purchase contract is created with reference to the PR the commitment should be transferred from PR to purchase contract i.e commitment should be generated from contract.

Can anybody suggest why the inthis case why from purchase contract the commitment is not getting generated and from PR it is not getting nullified?

Hi, there is no possibility to post commitment for contract.

But via workflow you can post commitment related doc in co, like fund reservation.In this case you have 2 doc

I dont think commitment cost will be posted when you create Contract, It will happen only on PR/PO creation.
