Problems with your "load"? What kind of logs are you looking for? alert<SID>.log?

Hi Markus,

thanks for your replay, in BI side i am geting an error about a lock wich occured in database of R/3, what i need is to see the log in R/3 to check what's exactly happening.

so i need to know the location (path) of oracle log files.

Thanks.

windows : <Drive>:\oracle\<SID>\saptrace\background\

Hi Sunil,

Thank you for your replay, besides alert<SID>.log and logs in <Drive>:\oracle\<SID>\saptrace\usertrace is there any other log file that i should be aware of and that can help troublshooting.

Thanks.

You need to check the alert_<SID>.log, all the logs will be recorded in this file. Even they are related to usertrace, for example below error recorded in alert_<SID>.log, then you need to check the detailed logs as shown.

ORA-00060: Deadlock detected. More info in file /oracle/<SID>/saptrace/usertrace/<SID>_ora_3285192.trc.
