Deadline monitoring

Gurus,

I am trying to carry out a deadline monitoring of one particular batch of a material. I have created a variant in QA05 with material number, batch and plant. I have scheduled the job and monitored the same in SM37. After the job gets completed I find that "No batches have been found for processing" in the spool, although I have that batch in the same plant.

Can anyone help me out on this?

the interval time should be finished or material's expiry date should be reahed before the job is executed.

if any 1 condition if this is satisfied then only u can see changes in batch.

Thanks Yogini for your input. Thing is I am not maintaining any expiry date. I have scheduled only once for testing purpose and didn't get any result. I guess even if I schedule it only for once, I should get the result, i.e. the lot should be generated. However, I am not getting the desired result. Any suggestion?

Hi Snigdho,

Have you maintained next inspection day and expiry date? You might be knowing that there are two parts in QA07 ( The main screen that runs behind QA05). First part for next inspection and the lower part for expiry date. and for better control, you can put opening period for both as well.

r u maintain inspection interval time in qm view ?

for example

pre requistes

inspection interval manintained

09 inspection typr active in inspection setup

job is scheduled

u have created job in qa05 which runs once every day

if u maintain insp. interval as2 days

u created inspection lot today and cleared it, then recurring inspection lot will get craeted after 2 days.
