Hi,
We have configured notifications so that it is sent in the below scenarios:
1) When Shopping cart is approved
2) When it is changed
3) When deadline is reached for approval
The notifications are sent correctly. But I can see it sends 2 notifications for particular user, one to Email id mentioned in BP and another one to email id mentioned in SU01.
When debugged, I found that the code is set to send notification to Email id & also to SAP inbox in class 'CL_BBP_ACTION_NOTIFICATION_NWF' and method 'DETERMINE_RECIPIENTS' line no. 189 to 205.
But it happens only for certain users. I checked the user details in SU01. Both of them are having similar data.
Can anyone help me in finding the cause for this?

Check SAP OFFFICE settings for the particular users. You may have "Automatic Forwarding" of SAP OFFICE emails to an external email address. I have seen this in the past, particularly for savvy users who want to forward their SAP mail to external internet address.
