Dear All,

Need your Help! In Resolving the belowu2026

Requirement is to reduce the size of the generated PDF file.

Say For Example:

When the generated PDF is having (say) 5 pages the Size is becoming (say) around 1/2 MB .

This Should be in size KBu2019s u2026

Is there any specific code or function module to Achieve thisu2026

please let me know how can i reduce the file size without zipping the generated pdf file.

you don´t mention an important detail. Is this an Adobe form is you create some type of output into a PDF file?

Hi Murali,

Do not use any true type fonts in the form used to create the PDF, If you do, then the complete font information is embedded into the PDF file and this makes it musch larger. If there are any graphics in your form, mkae sue to set the flag 'Resides in Printer Memory' for this graphic in transation SE78. Then if a grphic is repeated on several pages, it is only stored once in the PDF.
