Mass Upload of Projects from MS Excel to cProjects

Hello

We are implementing cProjects version 4.0. We have around 160 projects to be uploaded from MS Excel to cProjects.

Data for upload is the project Structure (Phases and Tasks), Resources and Dates

Project structure is different for each project so i cannot use project templates.

What are the other different options available to upload ?

Hi,

just as a additional remark. With PPM5.0 SP04 the DX report for projects has been made available (Report dpr_dx_project ).

Hi Ashish,

The standard data transfer tool RPM_DX supports only templates for creating project structures. There seems to be no other standard report to upload project structure. You will have do write an upload program using the BUS_217* function modules.

Alternatively, you may check if XML upload functionality could be leveraged in your case.
