Budget Commitment control using outlook integration

Hello All,

Project requirement is, if the budget reaches 80%, 90% and 100%, system will notify the group of users using outlook mail. This users will be maintained in a SAP table per plant / Company code.

In standard, the person responsible for WBS element is notified via SAP inbox. Here the requirement is little different which is the persons are picked from a Ztable and they will be notified using outlook mail.

Is it possible to acheive using a customized workflow? or will it be anyother solution for this?

In std SAP you can send email to person responsible, if you want to send email to a group of person then you have to make use of this exit EXIT_SAPLBPFC_001, there is a table available in this exit where you can maintain the recepient.

I think customizations within the standard workflow are enough. Total customized workflow also is not required. Your ABAP consultant can do this.

When we are able to get mails to SAP inbox, with a little effort only, the same can be re directed to Outlook.
