To enable Revenue Recognition SAP requires steps which they do not require for any other configuration. Customer must obtain activation key, and perform testing before go-live or risk losing support.
Why is this?
There are many ways to cause problems with faulty configuration. Why is RR different?
If anyone has a horror story I would like to know what to look out for.

Hi,
Horror story in the sense, It is for Indian client, We have completed all our unit testing, integration testing & user has completed UAT. just we are about to go line in another 5 day that time Finance requirement has come like change for many GL accounts. We changed and move the request with a limited testing.
We went live and thing first invoice has going to wrong Gl account. then we canceled that invoice corrected the GL account and continued further.
The learning is that with out proper testing any thing we moved to production then gone only, we ourself are getting hanged, infront of the client.
