Values for Timezone paramters

Hello,

Default value for the parameter system.master_timezone in our system is America/New_York

How can we find out the list of supported values for th is parmeter ?

Also the default value of system.default.timezone is (GMT-5:00) Eastern Standard Time .How can I change this to CST? I tried GMT-6:00, but no effect.

Hi Arun,

To find supported values for property master_timezone, you can search in the net for Java time zone for your time for example "java timezone for Berlin" or "Java timezone for CST".

Coming to changing the default time zone for CST, I have not tried but you can try something like "(GMT-6:00) Central Standard Time"

After you have changed these system properties I guess you need to restart the Java service (Jboss service).

thanks for the feedback.

Actually we can find the supported values for timezone parameter from esourcing application itself.

set up> master data> value list type list--> timezone

And for the central time, the value is (GMT-6:00) Central Time (US & Canada)
