Hello,

is it possible to customize the basis notification (in Help ->Create Support Message).

In this message you have to choose a SAP component. Can we add a category field (like in NOTIF_CREATE) in

the basis notification und deaktivate the component field?

Hi,

you can use BADI SBCOS001 to influence the existing fields in Help->Create Support Message.

To add a category field is possible, but not without modification.

You have to modify the screen 100 in function group BCOS to add your category field.

Then you have to enhance or modify function module BCOS_SEND_MSG to include the category in the message creation. A corresponding field already exists in the interface for message creation (structure ls_notif_ext, field category).

thank you for the fast answer.

Is there an opportunity to change the Basis notification without modification?

For example it is possible the change the fields in NOTIF_CREATE

with SE38 --> RDSWP_NOTIF_CREATE_CUSTOMIZE_S --> Press Key "F8"

Now you can make fields invisible or visible.

It would be nice, if there is a way like this.

Or is there a way to use the component field in the basis notification and

change this field to the category without a modification?

as far as i know that is not possible. But i would like to hear if someone knows a way to do it.
