MDM customer / vendor : create and update Trading Partner

Hi Experts,

Am just beginner to SAP MDM.

please let me know where i have to do this activity (console / DM or IM) in SAP MDM (create and update Trading Partner)

Trading partner contains customer and vendor fields (not values) with vendor code, Description and etc....

3 sheets :

- Create : 80

- Update long description : 39

- Update name 2 : 48

Your post doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to do. It sounds like you need to update some records in your repository. Trading Partner is a field that exists on both customer and vendor master data. I would assume from your post that you have a repository modeled for customers and vendors and you need to update some trading partner information?

If my assumption is correct, then you would perform this either in the MDM Data Manager if you want to do it manually, or you could perform this in the MDM Import Manager if you have a file that can be mapped into your repository.

2. Needs to update Name and long Description in some other fields.

Please suggest me in which component what i need to do

The best option would probably be the Import Manager.

If you know the Data modelling, create the tables / fields in SAP MDM Console.

2. Needs to update Name and long Description in some other fields

If you want to add data to the fields, either import it via Import Manager or add in Data Manager
