How to make the importing parameter passed in handle default method of the window can be made optional ?

In windows->Methods tab->HANDLEDEFAULT method, in the place of defining parameter, checkbox OPT will be there.
You can reply in the same thread, to avoid duplicate threads.
In my server I could not see that option-OPT ,am not getting that option in any of my methods inside the component.?
it sounds strange. Are you sure that it is not hidden ?.
Can you post the screen shot to verify. Meantime you can also raise a oss ticket.
While you define the importing parameters in the handledefault emthos, there is a option(OPT) to set the parameter as optional by checking the checkbox.
