Block Batch

Hi Experts,

The material is in UR stock. But I need to block certain batches for determination at delivery. After some days I may unblock the batch also. The requirement is like blocking & unblocking customers.

If the above canu2019t be possible can we block a particular storage location to pick the material? System shouldnu2019t pick What ever materials kept in that storage location.

Hi DP,

Try the following-

1- Maintain "available from" date is 31.12.999 ( future date)- when you want to block this batch

Else

2- maintain deletion indicator, whenver required remove Deletion flag.

hi,

in MSC2N,

there is such option to block certain batch for some period.

so, please make the batches un restricted to restricted use.

or

there are three options like:

batch deletion flag

batch deletion flag at plant

deletion flag batch stock

make use of these three options.

Hi Thank you for your inputs.

System throw a warning message only when we do this. It never block the batch at delivery. This is an internal error message.

It is not advisable to edit the programm,

Any other possible way, pls?
