Oracle enterprise manager

Dear Experts,

I have installed ECC6 with oracle 10g . In the whole installation my all passwords are system123 .

Now I have activated oracle enterprise manager .

it is asking to put the user name password .

pl. help me what will be the user pass for the same.

Hi,

If you are running the emca script then you can change the passwords (for the accounts) before running emca...

i.e. from sqlplus, run alter user identified by you_new_password

Otherwise, you can post the error that you are seeing.

P.S. Be careful running emca on a database that is in use...it Quieses the database

1. what will be user name for enterprise manager to configure dataguard ?

2. what will be the default password ?

3. if default is not there . what is the process to create new password ? what will be the user name ?

To be honest I'm not sure about Dataguard (I thought you were just asking about the OEM/DBCONSOLE setup).

you can only use the enterprise gridcontrol for dataguard with sysdba's user.
