Text conversion not displayed when logging in from ZH instead of EN

Hi

I have a scenario here.

- when i log in with EN language into SAP, and if i go into PFCG, i can able to view the description(Text). where as if I log in ZH(Chinese) Language, and check in PFCG, the descripion(Text) part of the role isnt being displayed.

- What i did is, SE63 ->Translation> Abap objects> Short texts there when i click on Edit, and the copy the translation of description.

- and save

- then when i log in EZ(chinese) -->pfcg i can view the description.

But how do we capture these changes in transport request and move it to Qty-> Prd??

Actually when end user logs in for using the scanners they wont be able to see the descriptions if this translation isnt done, when they log in there local ZH lang....

The system reads texts only in the logon langauge if they are not subsituted. If you create own text in one language only the system won't automatically retrieve the other language.

To achieve that you have to run language substitution. Check
