Change number does not exist

Hi All,

I am using ECC 6.0 with EHP4.

I did set up a internal number range in engineering change management.

When I create a 'ECR' and save it. I get a message "Change number XXXXX0001 created"

But when I go to CC02 or CC03, and check for the above number, I can not access it.

Gives a error message "Change number XXXXX0001 does not exist".

Any idea, where exactly could be the problem. Useful answer will be rewarded.

Hello Vardhan

is there update terminate raising after that? please check if any record in SM13 or ST22 regarding it. I guess there might be some inconsistancy between the table entries and corresponding number range settings.

Is it showing , when F4 is pressed on change No..... Also try to create same change no by CC01.

Is there any error????

Thanks for your reply.

My issue got resolved. We had to run a report with SAPs recommendation to delete the blank entries in tables. That deleted the blank entries and allowed us to start creating change numbers.
