What is the basic difference between movement type 641 TF & 642 TR
& when these movement types r used?
HI
641 is the movement type for STO with delivery.
642 is the reversal of the above
For details about all the movement types check this on WIKi

These movement types would be used in inter plant stock transfer. The process is such that Receiving Plant will raise a PO on Delivering Plant. Against this PO, delivering plant will make replenishment delivery with movement type 641. Once you do this movement type, it will not reflect in receiving plant inventory but will show "In Transit" which you can see in MB5T.
Once the receiving plant do MIGO against this replenishment delivery, the stock in transit will get transferred to receiving plant inventory. The reverse process of this is 642 movement type.
