PGI will affect Moving average price in which Scenario ???

Dear Experts,

At the time of Goods receipt if purchase is varies it will impact the moving average price. but Goods Issue (PGI) will not have impact on moving average prize of that material this is SAP Standard.

But there is one scenario when you do Goods Issue (PGI) it will affect the Moving average price. which is that scenario ???

Seems like an interview question?

If you maintain Price control as V ie moving average price in Material Master's Accounting Tab1.

But normally FERT will have S as price control. But it depends on the business requirement.

If you mention Moving average price indicator in material master data as "V" still after PGI moving average price will not change in normal sales scenario e.g. MType 601

but it will happen in only one scenario when you do PGI it will affect Moving average prize,

When there is a split valuated material is used in delivery and goods issued, then it affects the MAP.

If that material master is having Price Control as V, then the moving average price will get changed.
