Shopping Cart Workflow: Notification on approved and reject.

Hi

We wanted to send notification to initiator of SC whenever SC is approve or rejected. Please help me understand how to activate this?

Hi,

Please check following 2 configurations.

1. Assign Event Schema SC to the Transaction Type SHC

2. Maintain "Define Recipient of Notification" in Alert customizing

Below are the settings that i checked.

SPRO-> SRM Server-> cross application->define transaciton type> an entry exist here for shopping cart and transaction types has SHC.

with below infromation.

Description Shopping Cart

Int. Number Range 01

Ext. Number Range 02

Status Profile

BTrans.Category BUS2121

Description Shopping Cart

Partner Determ.Proc.

Text Schema SC

Event Schema SC

Team Purchasing

SPRO-> SRM Server-> cross application-> Business WOrkflow> Define Recipient of Notification.

there are below entries for SC

approver shopping cart -> approver

approver shopping cart -> Contact Person

approver shopping cart -> Reviewer.

Is there any thing i need to update here

Hi,

Other basic check points;

+ Does the user has email address?

+ Are there APPROVAL_PROCESS_DOC_APPROVED and APPROVAL_PROCESS_DOC_REJECTED Events in the Event Schema SC?

+ Is there any email in SCOT transaction?

3.In SOST, i didnt see any mail to approver.

Is there any mail to SC requester? Not approver.

Yes you are write .. to requestor.

This is working now for approver.

But the text that we see needs to be customized ... can we customize this text of email notification.

We are using SRM 7.0. and have activated process controlled workflow for SC.
