Hi all,

we are installation solman 7.0 EHP1. on setep java solman component i give path "/solman/51036446/DATA_UNITS/SOLMAN_JAVA_UT_SOLMAN"

but it generate error

You entered: /solman/51036446/DATA_UNITS/SOLMAN_JAVA_UT_SOLMAN/LABEL.ASC Found the label SAP:UT_SOLMAN:SOLMAN701:SP02:: but need the label SAP:UT_SOLMAN70:NW701::😘

The reason for error is SAPinst is looking for SAP:UT_SOLMAN70:NW701:::* label and you have given wrong DVD.

but we have download complete solman including java component DVD from http://service.sap.com.

Hi Imran,

From the label, looks like the Java Component DVD is fine, but the Installation Master is looking for SolMan 7.0 DVDs instead of SolMan 7.01.

This is strange as the DVD labels should be either SolMan 40* or SolMan 701*. Please let us know the installation master DVD number being used.

now we have download gain DVD 51036441 (inst master)

when we execute

now i have done the foloowing things

now it is generating error

I found below in installation guide, please check.

If you copy the DVDs to disk, make sure that the paths to the destination location of the copied DVDs do not contain any blanks.

Also give the all permission to your installation directory.

yes copy data on disk & given full 777 permission

There is no blank space in folder of data.

Hi Imran,

It might be a problem because of download to the Linux host.

Did you download the DVD on Windows, unzip on windows and then transfer the extract to Linux(using binary ftp)?

If so, this could be the problem. You could try to 'unzip the DVD directly on Linux using unrar -x' or 'extract on windows usin 7-zip tool and then transfer to Linux'.
