Movement type for customer supplied packing material returns

Hi,

Which movement type can be used for customer supplied packing material returns ?

The scenario is like this,customer will supply the packing material we have to return that packing material to that customer with the main material.At present we are using movement type 624v for this. But we are not able do the delivery because storage location is not assigned if we use this movement type.

We also want the traceability of the packing material customer wise. please suggest the suitable movement type for this.

hi,

this is to inform you that,

if customer is supplying the packaging material to us receive it through 501 - M and Issue 502 - M, manually if you want to track the packing material wise take the material into NON VALUATED ITEM.

you can create a Z report for the same and the fields in that is,

material number, packing material associated with that, quantity received thru 501 - M and consumed against 502 - M and GI quantity.
