SMTP Server name changes

Dear All,

We have to change to SMTP server host name at Enterpris portal system. Found that knowledge base to change like (Sytem Administraion --> System Configuration --> Select Collabortion in Detailed Navigation --> Transport --> Mail Transport -->

But I couldnot find the existing SMTP server host name..

Could please provide the path to change the SMTP server host name.

Hi,

Check that you logged on the correct portal env where you have Mail server configured - check the server entry in system landscape.

Yes, I logged in to the correct portal server. we have SMTP server configured ECC and CRM, system, I have changed the SMTP server via T-code SCOT in ECC and CRM system, and confirmed that outbound mail from SAP to endusers.

Simailar way we are not sure weather SMTP mail server configured or not in Portal system. IF Its configured we have to change the SMTP server host name.

1. Please let us know how to confirm that portal system SMTP sever configured or not.

2. If yes how to change the SMTP server name.
