Types of Sales Doc

Hello there,

I would just like to confirm that by 'Sales Document' it means only these and nothing else :

1. Sales Order

2. Returns Order

3. Inquiry ?

4. Quotation ?

Hi,

You can see all the sales document types in transaction code VOV8.

sales document type determines how the system processes the sales document.

The header data in a sales document is controlled by the sales document type.

To confirm, every sales doc type can have a sales doc

And

a Delivery order onwards is not a Sales doc.

hi,

this is to inform you that,

sales document types contains some range of functions & each sales document contains different types of control featues on which the use age of sales documents depends.

Eg: you can go and see in VOV8 - on which sales documents are structured.

In the control features of a sales document you can see everything.

yes every sales document type will be having a sales document and inside it a delivery document will be assigned to it &

delivery document is different from sales document because it contains its own features.

No apart from the above, there are other document types also like Scheduling Agreement, Cash Sale, Rush Order etc. Please check in VOV8 how many sale documents types can be used in SAP.
