Hi Experts,

We are facing problem with "401 - Uauthorized" due to repeatedly getting locked for user XIISUSER.

So we hav done password reset for above user and restarted the J2EE Engine to activate the changes in exchange profile and also refreshed the full cache. Even doing all these also we are facing the same problem. Can anyone suggest where does this

user will used so that we can do password reset in respective areas.

Til noe we have done password reset in SU01 for user XIISUSER and also in INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI, but facing the same isue.

Can any one pls suggest apart from the above two two areas where all do i need to do password reset for above user.

Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks,

Srikanth

Hi,

To solve this, ensure you have maintained the correct password, which MUST be the same, for all the service user on XI

and ensure it has eight (8) characters in length.

You may check all the places it should be maintained, such as Exchange Profile, SU01, SLDAPICUST, etc..

Check the note below, according to your system version:

PI 7.1:

#999962 - PI 7.10: Change passwords of PI service users

XI 7.0

#936093 - XI 7.0: Changing the passwords of XI service users

XI 3.0

#721548 - XI 3.0: Changing the passwords of the XI service users

Also please ensure that the user has the correct role as per link below:

Hi;

Password rest will not solve this issue. When you reset the password you have to make sure you follow all the steps as per the SAP note.

Checking Profile Generation

You can try this option to do the SM59 pick the "INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI" RFC connection. Get the user from this.

01. Call transaction SU01 to check whether the user is locked. Navigate to the Logon Data tab page. This is

where information about the lock status is displayed.

02 . Check whether the profiles for the user have been generated. Choose the Profiles tab page. If the profile for the role is not

generated, call transaction PFCG.

03. Select the corresponding role SAP_XI_ID_SERV_USER/ SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER/ SAP_XI_IR_SERV_USER, and display

the definition. Choose the Authorizations tab page and check the status of the profile generation. If the generation is

incomplete, change to edit mode and delete it first. To generate the profile choose Display Authorization Data on the

same tab page and generation the profile once again.
