to add new field in salesorg2 in material master record

Hi All,

I have a requirement of adding new fields in material master in salesorg2 tabpage.

In salesorg2 tabpage we have five material group .that is , material group 01-05, now

i want to add more material group that is, material group 06-08 ,can we do it by customization

or is it the task of Abaper ,if development than please tell me the user exit to be used

Hi,

If I understand you, you want to add the fields MVGR6 to MVGR8. If it's true, you must create the fields ZZMVGR6 to ZZMVGR8 and add as an append in MVKE. To add in the view, check Note 44410 - Integrating cust.-specific fields in matl master.
