XI not picking up file

Former Member

Hi! My team here has some problems with our XI server. All the settings are correct, and the adapter is set as well. However, the file adapter is not picking up the files from the ftp server and there are no messages in Monitoring.

Has anyone else faced this problem?

Im experiencing the same problem as Petre is and I have checked the adapter monitoring and it seems as one of the file adapters has stopped checking for new files 5 days ago. My question is how can I "restart" the file adapter?

make a little change (in the communication channel description) and activate once more

I have just made a change in the description, but I still get the same status in "Adapter Monitor":

PS! How exactly do you activate it again? Is it enough to save it?

hi,

of course not

you need to go to the Change tab of your directory

and activate the channel from there

Thanks for your quick response, but it did'nt help reactivate the adapter. Any other suggestions?

Hi Petre,

plz have a look to the adapter monitoring at Runtime Workbench, to find out the reason for your problem.
