Hi All,
I am installing EHP4 on existing SAP ECC 6.0 with MAXDB on Windows 2008 Server.
I am at downtime phase of EHP4 Installation and the installation stopped at below error message.
Checks after phase MAIN_NEWBAS/PMVNTAB_UPG were negative!
Last error code set: Single errors (code <= 😎 found in logfile 'PMVNTUPG.ELG'

Right now SAP was down and also the shadow system, I manually started the SAP system and tried to Activate and found that table 'VBAP' and view 'VBAP_VAPMA'.
I also visited the below relevant thread, but no success.

Hello,
You should start the SAP system, normal instance (no Shadow) and log on
the system with DDIC in client the 000.
SE11 -> <Tabname> -> Execute -> Utilities -> Runtime Object -> Check
"And activate the tables. Please also refer to SAP Note 1248769 with
the steps to create the table structure if needed.

Thanks for the reply, I tried something similiar before but your advice worked.
I Checked in SE11 -> <Tabname> -> Execute -> Utilities -> Runtime Object -> Check. and found inconsistency in VBAP table.
I followed SAP Note 1248769 to remove the inconsistency.
Now I continued my installation this eliminated the error.
