Hi Gurus
I am trying to install SAP IDES 4.7 on my computer ,while try to install i am getting this error msg i have posted the log file below and while in command prompt lsnrctl status listener command returns error msg 1053 please advice as how to proceed further , i have uninstalled and reinstalled oracle but am getting the same error msg

Go to My computer Properties and Add entry ORACLE_HOME = Drive:\oracle\<SID>/102_64 in environment Vaiable
Error : No mapping between account names and security IDs was done"

Thanks a lot for your response, am currently working with windows 2003 server , when u say add a environment variable ,does the variable need to be added in system variable or User variable ,and you please explain what is the SID id is ?? is that a unique number ?? or where should i find that ID ?

Hi,
Log in as <SID>adm user and you have to add it in a User vaiable.
SID is a System Indentifier, every instance is identifies by SID and system number.
You can see the SID when you open the SAP MMC console or directory /usr/sap/<SID> where <SID> represent System ID.
Pls. answer the Markus quetion, how did you installed your oracle?

CJS-00095 Return code 128 of executable F:\oracle\ora92/bin/lsnrctl indicates an error. See log file lsnrctl.log for details.
please guide me as how to proceed further

The path of that program indicates, that you did not install Oracle as described in the installation guide by using "sapserver.cmd" but you installed it "manually" using setup.exe. This is incorrect for a SAP system installation.
I suggest you uninstall everything and start from scratch by following the instruction from the installation guide attentively.
Also keep in mind that both Oracle 9.x and R/3 4.7 are already out of support - so basically it's pointless to install such old software.
