I am using APO 5.1.
In APO I am using the standard SNP heuristics.
In the situation where we have a forecast at a location in time bucket t, we have of course planned orders generated for that location in the same time bucket; the timing of the planned orders within that same bucket t can be influenced by the 'period factor' on the product master.
Is it possible to actually schedule the planned orders into the previous bucket t-1 in some way?
Thanks for any advice on this point...

Hi,
You can keep some GR or GI time as one day so that the heuristic will schedule the same in previous day.
Or you can maintain values of bucket offset and period factor.Maintain the value as one and the reciept will be availble at the end of the bucket and hence the system will schedule the same at previous day.
These are work around.
Hope this can help.

Kaushik,
Thanks for your reply.
I have tried the G/R field - this affects the start date/time of the planned order.
I have also tried the period factor, but this only affects the timing within the time bucket t.
I think the bucket offset is only used by the optimiser.
I want to schedule the planned order in the previous bucket t-1, and cannot find a way to do this.
Any other ideas?...
