Dear all,

Please help in following issues.

we have concepts like calculated keffigure,restricted keyfigure,exceptions,condtions,Customer exits in sap bw .

how this can be achived in universe and webi.

An add on to Noor,

If you want to use calculated keyfigures, you need to use a BEX query.

If you go directly to the cube, these are not available.

Create the BEX query with the keyfigures and characteristics you want in you universe and generate it.

Rename/regroup as you see fit in classes and objects.

Then create WebI queries on top of this universe.

hai all ,

I completely agree what u have said but is there any way we can do the above concepts with the data from infocube because we using data directly from infocudes.

No - you have to use universes based on BEx queries. There is no benefit to using universes based directly on the InfoCube.

Hi,

If you have the BOE and the corresponding SAP Integration Kit of same version installed, then you can consume the query or cubes available in BW system in Universe Designer.

In Universe Designer you can create a OLAP connection to your BW system and then a Universe by selecting any query or cube.

In Webi, you can consume this universe and create a report.
