Is there any special procedure to migrate Crystal Reports that use Universe from one environment to the other environment?
I imported some custom audit reports and activity universe to the XIR2 production server from XIR2 test server. All ODBC connections are setup and the Auditing is configured in CCM production. But I am not able to create any new report against the imported Universes in Production or run the imported reports against the imported Activity Universe. Error: "Faled to open the connection'
Imported Universe is working fine. I can see the table values. But when I create a new crystal report against the imported universes I get the error message.
Environment: XI R2 Base No fix patches, Import wizard, Crystal Reports, SQL Server ODBC, Auditing, Activity Universe.
Just FYI: I also tried importing from XI R2 Test server to XIR3 Test Server. I tried fresh import. I get the same error message in Crystal 2008 and also in Infoview.
Has anybody come across this issue before?
