NWDI upgrade how far do I go?

I am interested in updating our NWDI instances since there are several function in later stacks that we need to utilize.

If I am on NW 7.0 SPS12, at what level do I go up to EHP1 or EHP2.

I have seen some documents but am concered if I upgrade to EHp2 it may introduce issues with NWDI functionaly related to our current baseline (which is NW 7.01 and NW 7.1.

Can anyone provide advice on what level I should upgrade to? Does NWDS have an dependencies or what about the target baseline like Portal or CE?

Is is there any links that can be provided so that I can read them?
