Purchasing group is not assigned to purchasing organization

Hi Gurus,

I am working on SRM5.0. I have created a Pur Org, A and have assigned a pur grp, B under it. Both of them refer to a backend pur org and pur grp, resp. I have defined the responsibility of the pur grp too.

when i create a SC under purchase grp, B it shows an error message :"Purchasing group O 10005807 is not assigned to purchasing organization "

"O 10005807" is the object id of the purchase group, B.

Can someone guide me as to where I am going wrong?

I also notice that the system shows error "Purchase Organization doesnot exist". Even the Vendor created by BBPGETVD for this purchase org doesnot showup when I search it based on the purchase org. It is seen in the table BBPM_BUT_FRG0061 ( I mean I can see that the vendor-purchase org link using tables BUT000 and BBPM_BUT_FRG0061). But, the error message "Vendor XXX not intended for purch. org." is still shown.

I think there is some problem with defining my Pur Org. So, it does not link with the Pur Grp and the Vendor in SC. But, I am unable to find anything further. Can anyone help me in this regard?
