The Holy MII-Bible?

Former Member

Hi everybody,

two months ago I heard the first time about SAP MII. Now, after reading and reading and more reading about this system I think I collected a lot of informations to get an overview about MII.

Now, I want to start to create my own transaction, queries, animated objects, dashboards(!), etc in SAP MII 12.0. Can you tell me, is there something like "The Holy MII-Bible", "How to .... in MII" or "Training on MII"? It would be much easier und faster to create dashboards and so on.

Cheers

Alex

Hi Alex,

I highly recommend signing up for the MII Basic Training course, SCM380. Please see the url below, which takes you to the SAP Education page:

Welcome to the SAP MII promised land!

Hi Diana,

thank you for the recommendation! I'm sure the basic training is the best solution ! On the other hand, I'm a student. There is no money to absolve such a course. I have to do it on myself.

So, the thread is still open

Kind regards,

Alex

There are also a lot of downloadable projects/templates for MII available in the SDN Wiki for MII. Check the versions before downloading, but you should find some very good examples of transactions, query templates, etc. to study. I recommend the following as a good start:

[Downloads|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/801e9072-ae80-2a10-5e90-8ee2e4f703ca]

I would also suggest that you browse around the MII (aka xMII) wiki for other articles and information.

Good luck and welcome to MII!

Hi Diana,

thank you for suggesting the SCM380 :-). Besides the good stuff that is avaliable on the SDN (Manufacturing DownIoads and SAP MII WIKI) I can also recommend the following book even if it is on SAP MII 12.0: http://www.sap-press.com/products/Implementing-and-Configuring-SAP-MII.html . Alex - have fun with MII.

Ciao Martin
