missing stats

Hi,

Our solman system is on SP24 EHP1 and it seems in DB16 we are getting a red error stating that in total 100 table partitions and index partitions have no optimizer stats. I have the task "Check and update optimizer statistics" in DB13COLD scheduled to run weekly but i am not sure why this error is appearing if that "update stats" task is finishing successfully.

i ran the full set of brconnect commands and i think it did reduce it to 63 but its not a long term solution to the problem

brconnect -c -u / -f stats -t all -f collect -p 10

brconnect -c -u / -f stats -t oradict_stats

brconnect -c -u / -f stats -t system_stats

brconnect -c -u / -f stats -t all -p 10

Any ideas?

Hello Mani,

I am assuming this red rating is in an EWA report. If I am mistaken please advise.

You might want to try the following:

1. Run transaction AGS_UPDATE on Solution Manager or report

RAGS_DSWP_SERV_CONTENT_UPDATE.

2. Check for updates

3. Download updates

4. Activate updates

5. Create a new EWA report and verify the settings.

This may resolve.

You can reference SAP Note 1451202 - Various corrections for Oracle checks for ST-SER 701_2010_1.

If you look at Symptom 5, it sounds a lot like the issue you are getting. However the solution is to apply SP03.

I don't know what SP you may be on, or if you are even on ST-SER 701_2010_1.

But if you are, and lower than SP03, this likely is the solution. If not, what release and SP are you on from ST-SER?

Hi Paul,

I am on 701_2010_1 SP03 for ST-SER. I tried to access the note but it's held back by SAP for internal work so i cannot view it. Will try later on.
