Adapter Module :IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor: CustomIdoc

Hi,

I am trying to read a flat file with "IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor" in sender file adapter, for a custom IDOC(with enhancement).

i am getting error" IDOC_ERROR_ILLEGAL_TYPE: Segment type "ZE1EDT20" is not a valid child segment type.DOCUMENT: type="

It works fine with the standard idoc, also tested with Flat file given in the above blog.

a) Checked NWA connection for RFC Destination and JCA connection factory : Working fine.

b) Loading Enhanced IDoc in IDX2: Working Fine.

c)Assigned the MessageType to Idoc with Zenhancement, in the sender SAP system.

d: we are on SAP PI 7.11 SP06 .

seen a lot thread regarding this but, no solution....

Any configuration i am missing..

Thx. for the note, but it is related to SAP BC , however the issue is same.

will update if any breakthrough is done..

Check in table IDXIDOCSYN (via SE16 or SE17) to ensure your segment definition exists here.

If it doesn't exist, your module might not work.

Hi,

Please check Note 1540589 IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor ignores IDoc extensions and apply latest patch of XI ADAPTER FRAMEWORK 7.11.

Thx Makoto , for the note but the Note 1540589 is applicable for SP05 level.

and we are on PI 7.11 SP06.

Hello,

Please check the hierachy level and occurance for z segment, you have defined in the Idoc.

Also, check the source file, where you are defining the z segment details.

Can you provide the details of source file and expected Idoc with hierachy & occurance.
