R/3 on MSCS

Hi Gurus,

We have a backup of R/3 server 4.6C. We need to restore it on MSCS with CI and DB on seperate nodes. We have already installed windows 2000 and configured the cluster services for windows. Can any one suggest the steps for restoring the server on the cluster.

Hi,

I cannot suggest the steps to take as I've never done that, but I think I can give you a reference to some documents, where you could find valuable info to work your way through your scenario.

You can use the SAP note 106275 as a starting point, and then refer to related notes (such as 107534, 117305, 138765, etc.)

Also, you can use the following document as a general reference to configuring your system in switchover scenario:
