What Statistical Method shall be best suitable In Our Scenario

Our one of the major requirement be that While generating Baseline forecast we want that system should use the previous Three months average sales and give a flat 25% growth and generates the baseline forecast. This profile we shall attach with a selective group of items. Please advise the best suitable statistical tool which shall give the best possible results.

Hi Dinesh

I will suggest to use 3 month moving avg forecasting model in your case.

You can create this forecasting model in /SAPAPO/MC96B - Maintain Forecast Profiles and attach to respective product. I think than you are able to calculate the FCST as you are expected. You can also use a macro than to add 25 % growth in to calculate Baseline FCST.
