Using APO PDSs in simulation planning versions

I'm using a simulation planning version in APO SNP.

I can create planning version specific data for locations, products and resources.

But as far as I can see it is not possible to create planning specific PDSs.

So, how can one simulate different consumption rates in PDSs, for example?

Any advice appreciated...

Hi,

PDSs are not possible to change in APO system.It is only possible to change the data for PPM.So instead of using PDS you use PPM and change the nessesary.

If you are working on automobile inductry and you are creating PDS in APO system in that case you can change some of the data based on planning version.

Even if you use PPM also you can change only limited data for planning.

You can not. Since you can only mainatin PDS in R3 they inheriently are in the active version. the only way I know around this is to use PPMS along with PDS, where the PPMS are used for simualtion purposes.
